Refund Policy

Overview

All LumiTag purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, taxes, and refund processing on our behalf. Refund eligibility is determined by Paddle in accordance with their terms of service and applicable law.

How to Request a Refund

If you would like to request a refund, you can:

  • Email us at lumitag.app@proton.me with your order number
  • Contact Paddle directly through your purchase receipt or the Paddle dashboard

Please include your order number or the email address used for the purchase.

Processing Time

Paddle typically processes refund requests within 5–10 business days. The actual time for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your payment provider.

After a Refund

Once a refund is processed:

  • Your Pro license key will be deactivated
  • The free version of LumiTag (100 photos) continues to work normally
  • Any tags already written to your photos remain in the files

EU Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union, your rights under Directive 2011/83/EU apply. For digital content such as software license keys, the right of withdrawal expires once the digital content has been delivered and you have given your prior express consent to begin performance, acknowledging that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

This does not affect any additional refund rights provided by Paddle's terms of service.
